Angel tattoo designs are gaining popularity

Gambar
Angel tattoos are probably the most common designs for women worldwide. Angel tattoos can be versatile and may be used to create unique designs in a lot of different ways. Angels are thought to be one of the most beautiful heavenly creatures and represent different ideas to different individuals. Professional tattoo studios typically have a number of angel tattoos to pick from and each might possibly be altered into whatever design you'd like. Angels have represented beauty, purity, and spirituality in several different cultures throughout history. The character of a angel has often been employed to symbolize someone's transformation to a higher plane of existence, either physically, mentally, or spiritually. Most angel tattoos have a great amount of detail so the attractive nature associated with the design and style and the intricate aspects of a design can match the loveliness associated with the angels which have been depicted in literature and art. Angel tattoos are easily...

Remember the Heroes

Gambar
On this somber anniversary, we're sharing this back piece on Zack, who I met at the 2019 NY Empire State Tattoo Expo (@nyempirestatetattooexpo): Zack, who is a firefighter out on Long Island, got this back piece from Sophath Phing  ( @sophathphing ) from Ambition Tattoo Ink & Gallery  (@ambitiontattooinkandgallery), based in Danvers, Massachusetts. Update: Sophath sent this photo, as well, for another perspective on his work: freephotostation.eu.org instanttaxservice.eu.org lighttojustice.eu.org medinter.eu.org projman.eu.org scitechsoft.eu.org srbm.eu.org thisiswhyimfat.eu.org windfallrafting.eu.org frontierpathways.eu.org istopover.eu.org hillaryclintonoffice.eu.org healthsavingsatlanta.eu.org zngeoaq.eu.org bboos.eu.org bitgc.eu.org hrmlocksmith.eu.org institutocdi.eu.org isiambarter.eu.org jinji88.eu.org

A Snake and Kali, on Sasha

Gambar
Last month in Lower Manhattan, at the Whitehall Street post office, I met Sasha, who shared a couple of her tattoos with me, including this awesome snake on her arm: Sasha credited her artist Vova Bydin ( @vladimirbydin ) from Electric Anvil Tattoo ( @electricanviltattoo ) in Brooklyn. She told me "it was a cover up and we had to come up with a shape that would allow to cover my previous tattoo, which was an anchor with a rope around my arm ... I love the power and fierceness of the animal so I was happy with the idea." Sasha also surprised me with this stunning tattoo on her thigh: She explained that this is the Hindu goddess Kali , and the tattoo was also done by Vova Bydin and that he "really wanted to do something like that for his portfolio and I was open to it, so we went for it." Thanks to Sasha for sharing her two awesome tattoos with us here on Tattoosday! This entry is ©2019 Tattoosday. If you are seeing this on another website other...

Crossman at the 2019 NY Empire State Tattoo Expo

Gambar
A couple of weeks back, I met @Crossman5661  at the New York Empire State Tattoo Expo ( @nyempirestatetattooexpo ). He told me he was in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the most crosses tattooed on him. He had just got his 426th cross inked and, by now, he surely must have hit 427. Check out some of his crosses: freephotostation.eu.org instanttaxservice.eu.org lighttojustice.eu.org medinter.eu.org projman.eu.org scitechsoft.eu.org srbm.eu.org thisiswhyimfat.eu.org windfallrafting.eu.org frontierpathways.eu.org istopover.eu.org hillaryclintonoffice.eu.org healthsavingsatlanta.eu.org zngeoaq.eu.org bboos.eu.org bitgc.eu.org hrmlocksmith.eu.org institutocdi.eu.org isiambarter.eu.org jinji88.eu.org

A West Side Shark

Gambar
It's Shark Week, folks, last week I spotted this fierce creature on the subway on the Upper West Side: Like just seeing a fin in the water, this is only a part of the whole tattoo, which wraps fully around the host's upper right arm. It was a quick subway encounter, but I was able to get the photo on the 72nd Street platform and identify the artist, Kurt, formerly of Lola's Tattoos  ( @lolastattoos ) in Bogota, New Jersey. Kurt now runs Hommage Tattoo  ( @hommagetattoo ) in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. As for the woman who so graciously shared this fierce creature, I haven't heard back from her, so she will remain anonymous, for now. Be safe out there, folks! This entry is ©2019 Tattoosday. Olenna Tyrell and a Glass of Wine (2019 NY Empire State Tattoo Expo)

Gambar
I was walking past the booths and stopped dead in my tracks. The tattoo Jayne was getting was still in progress, but we chatted and she sent me a photo of the finished product after the weekend was over. This is the tattoo: In case you don't know, this is a portrait of Olenna Tyrell , a much-beloved character, portrayed by Diana Rigg , on Game of Thrones . Jayne summed up her experience of the tattoo: Inspired by the grace, wit and grit of Lady Olenna Tyrell, I wanted a portrait of her for several years. I entrusted my vision to Francisco Sanchez ( @franciscosanchez_tattoo ), co-owner of Dark Age Studio ( @darkagetattoostudio ) in Denton, Texas, to design and ink the tattoo. The result, detailed black and gray with the pop of deep red, captures the badass Tyrell matriarch, always ready to share a glass of wine. This is the tattoo in progress, when I first happened to meet Jayne: Jayne also noted: "The wine glass is straight.  Just had my arm bent.  Drive...

Karen Dreams Big With This Cool Tattoo

Gambar
One of my favorite tattoos from  last weekend's 2019  Empire State Tattoo Expo  ( @nyempirestatetattooexpo ) wasn't done at the show, but merely spotted there. I posted it on Instagram last Saturday, but because of the size, I couldn't really share it in all its glory. This tattoo, shared by Karen, is just super fun! The words "Dream Big" appear in the clouds as this magical cat, be-winged and sporting a horn like a unicorn, travels through rainbows and space. So fun! This remarkable piece was done by Erica Flannes ( @ericaflannes ) from Red Rocket Tattoo ( @redrockettattoo ) in Manhattan. Thanks to Karen for sharing this awesome tattoo with us on Tattoosday!
