Angel tattoo designs are gaining popularity

Gambar
Angel tattoos are probably the most common designs for women worldwide. Angel tattoos can be versatile and may be used to create unique designs in a lot of different ways. Angels are thought to be one of the most beautiful heavenly creatures and represent different ideas to different individuals. Professional tattoo studios typically have a number of angel tattoos to pick from and each might possibly be altered into whatever design you'd like. Angels have represented beauty, purity, and spirituality in several different cultures throughout history. The character of a angel has often been employed to symbolize someone's transformation to a higher plane of existence, either physically, mentally, or spiritually. Most angel tattoos have a great amount of detail so the attractive nature associated with the design and style and the intricate aspects of a design can match the loveliness associated with the angels which have been depicted in literature and art. Angel tattoos are easily...

Olenna Tyrell and a Glass of Wine (2019 NY Empire State Tattoo Expo)

Gambar
I was walking past the booths and stopped dead in my tracks. The tattoo Jayne was getting was still in progress, but we chatted and she sent me a photo of the finished product after the weekend was over. This is the tattoo: In case you don't know, this is a portrait of Olenna Tyrell , a much-beloved character, portrayed by Diana Rigg , on Game of Thrones . Jayne summed up her experience of the tattoo: Inspired by the grace, wit and grit of Lady Olenna Tyrell, I wanted a portrait of her for several years. I entrusted my vision to Francisco Sanchez ( @franciscosanchez_tattoo ), co-owner of Dark Age Studio ( @darkagetattoostudio ) in Denton, Texas, to design and ink the tattoo. The result, detailed black and gray with the pop of deep red, captures the badass Tyrell matriarch, always ready to share a glass of wine. This is the tattoo in progress, when I first happened to meet Jayne: Jayne also noted: "The wine glass is straight.  Just had my arm bent.  Drive...

Soraya's Amazing Tattoos Honor Her Family History

Gambar
Last summer, down by the New York Stock Exchange, I met Soraya, who was visiting the city from Porto Allegre, Brazil. She shared some amazing work dedicated to her family, starting with this stunning black and gray portrait of her mother: The compass is part of the overall theme of her sleeve, honoring her family's rich tradition as explorers. Thus, she has this amazing ship: And this lighthouse: As well as this chart and compass rose: Soraya credited the artist Verani Fontana ( @veranifontanatattoo ) at Verani Tattoo ( @veranitattoo ) in Porto Allegre. Dylan and the Black Pearl

Gambar
At the NY Empire State Tattoo Expo ( @nyempirestatetattooexpo ) a couple weekends back, I met Dylan, who shared this amazing tattoo: Dylan credited this work to Paul Tochluk ( @tochlukdesigns ) at The Abyss Fine Art and Tattoo Studio  ( @abyssartstudiolbny ). This amazing black and gray work is a nod to pirates, as the ship at the top of the design is the Black Pearl , Captain Jack Sparrow's ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Thanks to Dylan for sharing this cool tattoo with us here on Tattoosday! This entry is ©2018 Tattoosday. Terri Shares Two Great Tattoos (at the Coney Island Mermaid Parade)

Gambar
This past weekend, I attended another wonderful Coney Island Mermaid Parade in south Brooklyn. I met a lot of great people, including Terri  ( @ivyleagueink ), who shared some amazing work, including this amazing owl covering her stomach: She credited Peeko ( @peekotattoos ) from Pyramid Ink Tattoo ( @pyramidink ) in Brooklyn with this piece. The quote, "He who has a why to live can bear almost any how," is by Friedrich Nietzsche , and pre-dates the owl. It was done at True Blue Tattoo in Maspeth, New York. She also has this amazing portrait of the Bride of Frankenstein on her thigh: Please pardon the shadow in the upper right part of the tattoo. That phenomenal piece was done by Shane O'Neill ( @shaneoneilltattooist ), who won Ink Master, Season One, and tattoos out of  Infamous Tattoo in Delaware. Thanks to Terri for sharing her amazing work with us here on Tattoosday! Great meeting you, Terri! This entry is ©2018 Tattoosday. If you are seeing this on another website...
