I picked it out of a catalogue at 18. I've had a Japanese person tell me it doesn't actually mean anything, but I suspect it might have some meaning in slang. What do you say? Thanks in advance, great blog! - Shark 紐 string or twine.  However it could also be slang for gigolo or pimp according to Jisho.org.

My husband says his back tatto mean his mother's name (Malaquias or Altagracias, i forgot which of her two names it was). He got this in the Dominican Republic, a Spanish speaking country. So, although there is a small Chinese population there, I had to question the authenticity of it. Thanks so much! It is the pseudo-letter for M from a gibberish font.

It's supposed to say "faith", but I'm pretty sure it doesn't. How bad is it? Another fool of the gibberish font.
